Leslie Williams Crocker, TSC’s own executive consultant and interim CEO of Togiak Natives Limited (TNL), recently was honored to attend the Reservation Economic Summit (RES) 2019 in lovely Las Vegas along with our TNL clients, Anecia Kritz, Jimmy Coopchiak, Teo Pauk, Margie Coopchiak, Esther Thompson, Anna May Kasak, Rose Wassillie, Nellie Thomas, and Germaine Eningowuk.
RES is a multifaceted event from The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) that features tribal leaders, members of Congress, federal agency representatives, state and local officials and top CEOs on a national platform. Attendees benefit from high-caliber networking team opportunities, business development sessions, the American Indian Artisan Market, and more. This event is one way NCAIED helps build bridges of opportunity for today's American Indian and Alaska Native enterprises.
Not only were TSC’s TNL clients in attendance, but Gary Chythlook, President and CEO of Aleknagik Development, LLC, another TSC client, was also in town and stopped by to say hello. Gary, Leslie, and the TNL board and staff attended many of the same sessions and had numerous opportunities to network and socialize at the sponsored breakfasts and lunches.
TSC helps clients like TNL develop their SBA 8(a) programs, which are designed to help small, disadvantaged businesses compete in the federal marketplace.
